Better understanding of RAW vs JPEG Part 2

Some advantages and disadvantages of taking photos in RAW are:
+  It has the ability to display highlights and shadows in photos
+  Have better control over the exposure of the photo
+  Get a better variety of color range and sharpness
-   Must have program to processes this kind of file
-   Not very sharp and is not suitable for printing
-   Has a lower contrast

Some advantages and disadvantages of taking photos in JPEG are:
+ It has a higher contrast and is sharper
+ Is suitable for printing
+ Easy to read program
-  Lower in dynamic range
-  Some color is loss
-  image may “fall apart” into individual squares – 8×8 pixel blocks

In sum up RAW is better have when you want to greatly change a photo in different ways controlling the variety range of settings making the image better, but need a program to process it and does take much space since it bigger file.

For JPEG you have better variety of controlling the contrast and the sharpness and you can take many since the file the size low and not big as RAW is.
