New tutorial

I would like to do creative portrait using EL-wire for color flame effects.

I would need: Tripod, El-wire, and DSLR. To perform this kind of photography.

  • Pick a dark area to take your photo
  • Have someone stay still for your shot
  • Wear dark color clothes

  • While shooting wear dark clothes so you won't appear so much in your shot
  • Pick a low ISO such as a 100
  • An f-stop at f/5.6 or f/8 if your shot looks blown out
  • Put the exposure at B or BULB mode

  • If some areas are not the right dark color or light color to blend with the photo use the brush tool to fix it in Light room.

Year in Photos: 2014

Landscape/View point. The light source is natural, the sun started to set and use the sun's setting to take the photo. They got up to a roof top or top of hill to take this photo.

Landscape/View point. The light source is natural, they blend use of the sun and the clouds for the photo. They got on a helicopter to take the the photo.

Nature/Framing. The light is natural since it is outside with the sun. They use a 75m lens to zoom in from a far so they wont disturb the subject from what it is doing.

Nature/Merger. They use natural light since they are outside they use the shade by trees and sun for light. They had to be far and use a 75m lens to capture the animal from a far so they wont away when he/she takes the shot.

Portraits/Black and White. Leading lines/Balance. They use a mix of the suns light and lights of their own for light sources. They use a tripod, 50m lens, lights and reflectors to get this photo.

Urban. The light source is natural is they are outside in the streets, they use the sun as their light. They had to walk around the drawing until it made a perfect pose that looks like that they are floating.

Photojournalism.
Creating depth, the women and child is the front ground, the middle of the dock is the mid ground, and the trees are the background. The light sources are natural, they use the light around them to blend in with the area. They had to go all the way to the end of the dock, maybe use a tripod and took the photo.
