4. Crop tool- It cuts out a portion of the photo.

5. Lasso tool- Makes a shape in the photo in a certain spot you pick and adjustments depended on you.

6. Text tool- It allows you to add text to your photo to make it more appealing to others.

7. The buttons you press to undo a mistake you made is the Command-Z (Mac) or CTRL-Z (PC).

8. You open to the History palette and it brings you the window ---> History.

9. To rotate a image you go to  the image menu and select Image Rotation.

10. If you don't like your cropping box you can reshape by the edges of the cropping box you did and switch it around to the angle you like.

11. What you are telling Photoshop is which dimensions the image should result in after your crop.

12. The correct resolution for newsletters and newspaper is in the range of 150 to 200 ppi.

13. The correct resolution for magazines are in the range of 250 ppi or more.

Year in Review 2013

Part1.

 This cola machine is in the middle of a grassland that was left after the tsunami in japan. This has simplicity, has nothing to distract it so the viewers can see the subject clearly. It is sharp but dark according to the sun lighting.  

Lines are showed in this photo. This is walk ways up a hill and little rivers or ponds filled with plants.   The little walk ways makes pattern with the ponds, which gave the people the ideas of the plantation in each gap of walk ways made.  

This photo shows patterns. It is a bit blurry cause the light reflecting on the silver bikes and little dark. The creative of this project brought a lot of peoples attention in the morning and night it brought a huge crowd to this location.

Part 2.

1. The best song of 2013 is "Get Lucky" by Daft punk, the reason i choose this is because i like this kind of music. This attracts me by the way of the music that they play and sound effects they give off in there concert. I would said that people around the world liked this kind pop music and became popular in other countries.        

2. Movie of 2013 is"12 years a slave", because i love this movie it brings in drama and show how a life of a slave was back then. It attracts me by the history be hide the slaves life and they had to survive when life was tough. This movie was sad and good to my perspective to other i would say the drama.

3. The most important news story is the tornado in Moore, Oklahoma, i chose this cause a lot of people lost there lives. This attracts me by the sadness that and people felt when this happen. I say its the best because it was a major thing in Oklahoma when this happen.

4. Most important person is Tadashi Yanai, because he influence other designers to show there creation in fashion. Attraction of this is that he lets fashion designers express there way of fashion. I say this is the best because who knows what kind of fashion comes up next to be popular.

5. The biggest entertainment story of 2013 is the new fossil which they call it "Lythronax argestes. I chose this and it attracts me because i love fossil and trying to find out who they where when they lived here once. I say this is the best because an other species of the T. Rex has been found and maybe other fossil maybe found that we did not know.

Part 3.

1. One thing that happen during my holiday was that i got to eat tamales with my family and they were delicious. 

2. My resolutions for 2014 is that i will keep my grades up so i can go on a trip with orchestra, also that i will study more for quizzes and test.

3. I'm looking forward for a great year with my families and friends.

The exposure of this picture is that it came out dark and sharp and the back ground is perfect for the picture so it can stand out more. Also that the lighting came out a bit dark and bit light do to the lights in the picture. What draw me to this magazine is the picture and the selling line is what draw my eyes to this magazine.

Magazine Essential Parts

Masthead (logo)- It is the name of the magazine or title.

Dateline- The month and year the magazine comes out.
Main image- The model in the front page or mane page of the magazine.
Model credit- The credit given to the photographer and model.
Coverlines- Tells what is in store for the buyer when they buy it.
Main cover line- Has biggest font in main page of the magazine.
Left third- Does not show the entire frontage.
Bar code- Retailers to scan.
Selling line- A short sentence to catch the viewers eyes.

The best ISO setting would be 400. 

The next best ISO setting would be 800.

I would say kind of, by changing the aperture and shutter speed to get equivalent exposures for the  best photo.

I learn that you have to discover the setting by your self and make sure that they correct for the job, and that you have to know the area you are in to get the right settings.
